From Minnesota to Florida, the 2019 Boat Show season has begun.  Attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors looking for boats, marinas, lake lots, and vacation destinations, this is a big deal for Norris Lake as lots of water recreation business is generated for the new year.  Larry Collier, Patrick Boring, and Jim Williams will be attending many of these boat shows to promote Norris Lake. 

Larry said 2019 is the first year we will heavily promote Clearwater Cove Marina on Norris Lake to the public along with our 3 other Norris Lake Marinas.  We want to give CCNL lot owners an early notice before all the slips are taken.  See our promotional ads attached.  Our Marinas have helped lakeside communities grow and we want to help make that happen at Clearwater Cove on Norris Lake.

Attached is an article by Crystal Huskey, reporter for the LaFollette Press, that tells a story about the past ten years of recovery at Clearwater Cove on Norris Lake (formerly The Villages at Norris Lake).  Thank you Crystal for the comprehensive article you wrote in such a short time!

Clearwater Cove on Norris Lake Open House

Terri Gates and I are hosting an open house at Clearwater Cove on Norris Lake, in LaFollette, on Saturday, September 8, from 10 am - 3pm.  You are invited to tour this awesome property, and bring your clients as well, to see the significant changes that have occurred in this pristine lake development since 2008.  In 2008, Land Resource, LLC and The Villages at Norris Lake, LLC filed for bankruptcy during the U.S. Financial Crisis after selling 344 lots.  Since 2008, 296 of these remaining lot owners worked together to save this community which had no amenities and less than 10% infrastructure installed. We engaged a new developer who completed 100% of the infrastructure in phases 1 and 3,  and built a marina and a pool/pavilion.  In the past 12 months, 80 originally unsold lots have been sold to new buyers.  We have 7 beautiful homes completed, 3 under construction, and 6 ready to start in the next 6-12 months.  We have a recovery success story to tell about a locally rumored “failed community” on Norris Lake and the plans we have make it the best community on the lake.

The gates will be open all day, we will have refreshments and pontoon boats available to view Clearwater Cove by water, and the first 10 agents who attend will get a Starbucks or Bojangles gift card.  Plat maps and pricing for the 45+ lots that are available will be handed out, and guided tours of the development will be provided.  If you cannot make it, send your clients and have them tell us who they are working with, and we will honor that agency relationship.  Also, local builders  Joe Squeri and  Bo Caldwell have built several of the new homes on-site, if your clients want to see what they look like from the exterior only (no tours of the house interiors though), this would be a great opportunity!

Hope you can join us on the 8th!  I have attached the notice that will go out to all the realtors, but I wanted to contact those of you who spend your time on Norris, in advance.
